Admissions

Wonder is designed for middle and high school students in grades 6–12 who are ready for something different. We serve full-time learners and homeschoolers who are looking for structure, community, and deeper, more engaging learning experiences.

Wonder has a rolling admissions policy, and we welcome inquiries throughout the year. If you are interested in enrolling mid-year, please contact us directly so we can discuss your situation and availability. Our general admissions process is outlined below.

Prospective applicants should note - at Wonder Learning Center, a certified therapy dog is an active part of our daily environment. Pip moves throughout classrooms and shared spaces, and students have regular, natural interactions with him during the school day. Because of this, dog allergens are present in the air, on shared surfaces and fabrics, and may also be carried on clothing. While we take care to maintain a clean and supportive environment, we are not able to fully separate or contain allergen exposure within the space.

Families of students with moderate to severe dog allergies—including those who require an EpiPen—should carefully consider whether this environment is a safe and appropriate fit for their child. We are always happy to talk through individual circumstances and help families make an informed, thoughtful decision.

How to Apply

01

SUbmit Inquiry Form SCHOOL INFORMATION SESSION

Interested parents/guardians should submit an inquiry form to get started.

02

Family Meeting & Tour

We invite prospective families to participate in an interview with our team. This meeting is an opportunity to tour Wonder Learning Center, ask questions, and explore together whether Wonder is the right fit for your child.

Please note: Wonder is not a dog-free environment. Our certified therapy dog is integrated into the daily program and moves throughout classrooms and shared spaces.

03

application

Submit a short application so we can better understand your child’s background, needs, and goals.

04

SHadow Period

If both your family and Wonder feel like it could be a good fit, your child will be invited to join us for a trial period. During this time, they’ll step into our classes, participate in activities, and experience the rhythms of our program firsthand—while we also get the chance to see them in action. This trial period helps ensure that Wonder is not only the right environment for your child to thrive academically and socially, but also a place where they feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn.

05

Notification

Once all application documents are submitted, we review them carefully to determine whether your child would be a good fit with Wonder Learning Center and would benefit from our program. We will inform you of our admission decision within two weeks.

06

Enrollment

With your admissions notification, you will receive enrollment information and our handbook.
